Great Race. There's clearly 2+ mins to come off your run, and I would suggest that you might have finished higher up the field if the swim hadn't been scrapped.

Thanks - good explanation - I've been basing estimates on http://www.runsaturday.com/Talk/g/posts/t/839 - see http://sites.google.com/site/tourdefranceclimbgrades/ - I think the chart there shows the range of the climbs (distance and gradient) within the tdf quite well.

Hey Kate,

Glad you liked the photos! It took me more than half an hour to make them all the right side so it's good to see it was worth the effort.

I think you should hire a triathlon-and-pub spy to see if Dave really is living up to his word, you can't take these things lightly you know...

Life is very good, solid training again (after being injured) and all going well, just sent in my application to compete in May in Ixtapa in the Pan-Am Cup. Gonna get crucified, but that's the whole point!

Likewise, happy b'day big sis!! Sounds like a plan at mother's place, I'm back in June.

How are the girls getting on? And how did the new house get you through the '10 spring?

Love to the family, speak soon!

Hello Phil

Lovely blog...

I saw your name on an email from Sports Tours and it stood out because I thought I'd also seen a pile of your business cards in my local coffee shop - Belmondo's in Green Street Green, Orpington. Is that you? Or is that another Phil Price?
